If you’re a regular reader here or on my Instagram page, you know I like to make up words. “Trumpectomy” and “Back-to-normaling,” for example. Every Monday I’ll feature a new word here for open minds. Any suggestions? Would love those, too.
Ersatzisfied
Today’s made-up word is ersatzisfied (adj.): Used to describe someone who is pretending to be content or happy.
Derived from: ersatz (artificial, fake, imitation) + satisfied (content, happy, fulfilled)
Thoughts? Suggestions? Let me know in the comments.

I’ll use this at least once this week. Ersatzi… uh, ersatzi… uh, oh, changed my mind.
Thanks and enjoy your week!

Lol! I know! I always let my post drafts sit a while and then come back to read them out loud before publishing. I came back to read this one out loud after having a glass of wine🍷. It wasn’t pretty. 😂
