If you’re a regular reader here or on my Instagram page, you know I like to make up words. “Trumpectomy” and “Back-to-normaling,” for example. Every Monday I’ll feature a new word here for open minds. Any suggestions? Would love those, too.
Wombastic
Today’s made-up word is wombastic (adj.): used to describe the bullshit narrative of a hypocritical minority seeking to control women’s bodies.
Derived from womb (the uterus inside a woman’s body) + bombastic (marked by the use of pompous, histrionic, overblown, but meaningless words).
EXPAT FACTS…Abortion is legal in Portugal, an overwhelmingly Catholic country….Citizens can legally own firearms in Portugal for hunting, target shooting, pest control, and collecting, but self-defense is not a legal reason for owning a firearm.
