Midlife Made-Up Word

Rejectify ~ Made-Up Word Monday

If you’re a regular reader here or on my Instagram page, you know I like to make up words. “Trumpectomy” and “Back-to-normaling,” for example. Every Monday I’ll feature a new word here for open minds. Any suggestions? Would love those, too.

Rejectify

Today’s made-up word is rejectify (v): to refuse to fix or make better.

Derived from: reject (to refuse) + rectify (to correct or fix)

#rejectify

Thoughts? Suggestions? Let me know in the comments.

  1. Very good word. May I offer “smack-adelic”. It’s the gentle tap to the back of the head I provide my twenty-something with when he says something to me that’s disrespectful; it’s
used to induce an altered state of thoughtful consciousness!
