Midlife moon joy

Haiku Joy

Whatever your circumstance, may you remember to notice even the tiniest of pleasures dotted throughout your day, for these are the makings of the habit of joy.

Capturing joy in simple things
Creating joy by cracking myself up
Sharing joy at home
Finding joy on Lake Erie
Remembering joy found on a blue day in Japan
The joy of learning something new

Exciting Stuff!

I’m excited to be a special guest at Solo Traveler World’s Solo Traveler Insider year-end party, as a “most popular speaker” from this year’s Speaker Series. (OK, yes, I’m bragging and getting joy from it.)

I’ll be joining guests from around the world at the Dec. 15 virtual party. And, Grammy-featured musical guest ECHLO will give a live performance.

All images are my own, except for Solo Traveler material. Self-portrait created using Prisma.

  1. Loved the post and the photos!

And I’d like to be able to write a witty haiku in response…or perhaps steal one from Seuss.

But instead I’ll offer this; because your post reminds me of a quote by FDR, “Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort.”

    EnJOY the party!!!
