If you’re a regular reader here or on my Instagram page, you know I like to make up words. “Trumpectomy” and “Back-to-normaling,” for example. Every Monday I’ll feature a new word here for open minds. Any suggestions? Would love those, too.
Didacdick
Today’s made-up word is didacdick (adj.): used to describe instruction aimed at adults who act like jerks.
Derived from didactic (intended for instruction) + dick (slang: an idiotic, mean, or rude person)

(Inspired by this previous post on adult learning theory.)
Thoughts? Suggestions? Let me know in the comments.

π There is something to be said for words like this that can be used more frequently than I care to admit! Love this one; it adds a nice extra punch to both words it is derived from.

Oh dear. I’m afraid I may overuse this word! π It’s a perfect one, and unfortunately represents a number of didacdicks out there. ;-0
