If you’re a regular reader here or on my Instagram page, you know I like to make up words. “Trumpectomy” and “Back-to-normaling,” for example. Every Monday I’ll feature a new word here for open minds. Any suggestions? Would love those, too.
Cualm
Today’s made-up word is cualm (n): fear with a smooth coating of cool.
Derived from qualm (a feeling of doubt or fear) + calm (a feeling of tranquility; serenity).

Thoughts? Suggestions? Let me know in the comments.

You are so amazing and funny! Maybe you should write a Portuguese – English travel dictionary or life translation once you’ve moved!
