If you’re a regular reader here or on my Instagram page, you know I like to make up words. “Trumpectomy” and “Back-to-normaling,” for example. Every Monday I’ll feature a new word here for open minds. Any suggestions? Would love those, too.
Misstill
Today’s made-up word is misstill (v.): to pull inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading points from information in an attempt to summarize it.
Derived from distill (to extract the essential elements of) + miss (to fail to perceive or understand).

Thoughts? Suggestions? Let me know in the comments.

Lol! I feel there’s an awful lot of that going around in the political world! 😬😬

Oh funny – sometimes I mistake this word for journalism these days. 🙂 Not to be too hard on journalists for whom the 24-hours news cycle must be challenging.

I agree with you, on both points 😊
